Venice-born — a 100% recycled-PET ultralight backpack
270% funded¥810,000 raised of ¥300,00080 backers🏆 Success story
Conclusion: a ¥300k goal → ¥810k from 80 backers (270%) — a modest, solid sustainable win (funded).
Why it resonated
A Venice-designed, multifunction ultralight backpack made from 100% recycled-PET fibre (about 555g, using roughly 35 plastic bottles per bag). On GREEN FUNDING it raised ¥810,000 from 80 backers against a ¥300k goal (270%), with a USB charging port and anti-theft features.
Editor's note (as a modest success)
Not explosive, but a solid clear. Sustainable products win empathy through a material story — but judge function, durability and real-world utility coolly via specs and reviews. Hitting 270% with a small crowd shows a niche theme can still land. This project has ended.
